ENGIE’s entity “Global Energy Management & Sales” makes a double win at the Energy Risk Awards Asia:
Environmental products house of the Year:
recognizing ENGIE Global Energy Management & Sales’ efforts to build strong relationships with key upstream partners to offer competitive REC and carbon credits to clients throughout Asia and Australia. The Jury saluted our achievements with Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), and carbon credits. The opening of a new branch in Japan further cements GEMS’ commitment to supporting corporations in their decarbonization journey throughout Asia.
Natural gas/LNG House of the Year:
recognizing for the 2nd year in a row our teams’ unwavering efforts to provide risk management and supply competitive gas to our clients. We are committed to developing innovative trading structures in the LNG/Gas market ensuring security of supply, all regions and markets combined. The Jury highlighted the low-emission gas portfolio and low-carbon ammonia portfolio we are currently developing as part of GEMS’ efforts to reach our Net Zero targets.

Europe & the US
ENGIE has received for the third year in a row the highest distinction around decarbonization, being named by Energy risk Climate Risk Manager of the Year.
This prize highlights the overall decarbonization roadmap that has been developed by ENGIE and ENGIE Global Energy Management & Sales to support their clients in their transition to Net-Zero. The gamut of solutions developed, innovations, partnerships and major achievements were part of the winning formula.
Two other wins come along with this award:
• Natural Gas/LNG House of the year
• Deal of the Year – Biomethane Purchase Agreement sealed with Arkema
These two trophies spotlight ENGIE Global Energy Management & Sales restless activity and proximity with clients facing last years’ crises and gas security of supply issues. The Jury pinpointed teams’ ability to level up to these extra-ordinary challenges while staying on course in decarbonizing the gas value chain.

ENGIE has solidified its leading position in the corporate clean energy market according to BloombergNEF. This achievement is a testament to their commitment to renewable energy. In 2023 alone, ENGIE signed a record-breaking 34 contracts across various markets, exceeding all other developers with a total of 2.4 GW of clean energy sold directly to businesses. Furthermore, ENGIE stands out for its diverse offerings, including solar, onshore wind, and offshore wind projects, catering to a wide range of business needs. This builds upon their consistent track record of leadership in the corporate clean energy sector.
Energy Supplier Quality of the Year award 2022
ENGIE Global Energy Management & Sales Mexico received the Energy Supplier Quality of the Year award!
The awards launched this year by Acclaim Energy México aim to praise the companies that have shown the best practices in serving energy consumers.
The best performing energy suppliers are selected on 20 quality criteria among which transparency, response integrity, contract process and customer service.
This year, ENGIE was ranked as one of the top providers.
