ENGIE’s Business Unit “Global Energy Management” makes a triple win at the Energy Risk Awards with a first 2021 award as Climate Risk Management Firm of the Year!

This award is a recognition of ENGIE’s commitment to reaching Net Zero emissions, highlighting the wide range of solutions deployed worldwide by ENGIE Global Energy Management to support clients’ decarbonization.
This new award comes with:
- Electricity House of the Year: recognizing ENGIE Global Energy Management’s role as a glocal, green and client-centric midstreamer. Main highlight was GEM’s integrated approach to decarbonization ranging from CO2 reporting to solutions among other including Corporate PPAs, energy traceability, energy efficiency, e-trading of white certificates, weather risk management and flexibility management.
- Natural Gas & LNG house of the year: recognizing ENGIE Global Energy Management’s key role in securing and diversifying the supply of competitive natural gas and LNG, all regions and markets combined, which is essential to ensure a successful energy transition, while actively developing green and low-carbon gas solutions, moving towards ENGIE’s 2045 Net Zero target.
These distinctions also spotlight ENGIE’s successful transformation into a client-centric and digital organization, that managed to co-innovate with clients and extend its service offering throughout the pandemic.
